Whenever I see a video about printed circuit boards I have a strong urge do do it, to design one, to make it, to solder parts, power it up. I don't need the thing, I just need to do it if you catch my drift.
When I started to spend my time with electronics creating a PCB was hard. One had to take a pencil, eraser, some paper and design the routes, then take some raw metallic sheet, draw the lines by hand, then the chemicals, water, rather dangerous fluids... and it never looked like the real thing, it looked lame. Worked, but it looked like something you made on the kitchen table... well, you did make it on the kitchen table near the sink.
Anyway, nowadays it is a whole lot different game. It looks like the real deal, it is the real deal and you don't even have to stand up from your computer. You know what? Here is a guy why describes it better than me.
Neat! Do you feel the urge to do it? I sure do! Let's take a deep breath, drink a coffee or something, it will pass in a few minutes... :)
